Our Dog Treats In American Lifestyle Magazine

Back in early spring we began working with American Lifestyle Magazine to recreate our natural carrot and banana dog treat recipe for their holiday issue. Now that the issue is finally on newsstands, we were so thrilled to see how it turned out and find a project spread of our own across the pages of a print publication! Basil even made a little cameo — can you spot him in the top right image up there?
View the online version on the magazine here, and scroll down to see all the pages.

For those unfamiliar, American Lifestyle Magazine is a publication celebrating life in America. The pages are filled with articles on travel, culture, home decor, recipes and diy ideas. The current issue features a handful of simple and meaningful gift ideas you can make this holiday season, including our dog treats.

Homemade pet treats can be a fun and affordable way to reward your furry friends and make a great gift idea for the holidays. With all of the recent concerns surrounding outsourced pet treats, making them at home is also an easy way to keep track of all the ingredients going into your pet's diet.

While on the subject of dog treats, it's a great time to talk about common foods that can actually be toxic to our four-legged friends. Our friend, Angie, recently posted a great chart of these foods that are most dangerous for dogs to eat — check it out here.

In addition to the homemade carrot and banana treats featured in American Lifestyle Magazine, we've had fun experimenting with other recipes for natural and homemade dog treats — find the full roundup below!

    1. Someone asked us about liver recently. I am certainly willing to look into this so stand by and maybe we will indeed post something to the blog!
